Hi,

Got the latest trial download from Rad Controls for Silverlight 4 web page.
I'm running VS2010 Premium on Windows7. After running .msi my toolbox seems to have all the Telerik controls except RadSplitContainer.
One odd thing is that the Download Trial button downloads a file named RadControls_for_Silverlight_3_2010_1_0422_TRIAL.msi not
RadControls_for_Silverlight_4_2010_1_0422_TRIAL.msi.

Am I getting the correct .msi file?
Is RadSplitContainer supposed to be in RadControls for Silverlight 4?

Thanks...Ron

Hello Ron,

It missing intentionally. In Visual Studio 2010 design time it is impossible to drag RadSplitContainer into RadDocking thus making it unusable as it can not be used separately as a control. The only way to add it is by selecting Items from the Properties of the RadDocking. So we intentionally removed the RadSplitContainer from the toolbox as it is not needed.

Now to your second question, In your downloads section there are 2 installations one for SL3 and one for SL4. The link at the top saying : Download Installer msi file, 184 MB   is for SL3.
A little bit below there is This is the installation for SL4 controls.

Maybe it is a little bit misleading but we still need to support VS2008 and SL3 along SL4. The easiest way to distinguish the two installations is by the full name of the .msi file.

Hope I was helpful. Please let me know if you have further questions.

Sincerely yours,
