I want to dip my toes into the waters of Windows 8 development (status: muddy) and would like to work on something that includes a requirement for a scheduler with recurrent event ability.

I wonder whether Telerik might consider adding RadScheduler to the RadControls for Metro suite? It need not reproduce the full RadScheduler experience. I'd be really happy just to get my hands on the recurrence rules aspect! Events are easy, heck even implementing the arhitecture for recurrency rules as per the RFC are easy - but interpreting and applying those rules... well, that is a whole other nasty business.

So, RadScheduler LITE in Modern UI style? I think it would satisy many more real-world cases than charting and gauges.

What do you think?

Richard

Hi Richard,

Thank you very much for contacting us and for your interest in our Tools for building Windows Store Apps.

This is a great feedback and we have such a LITE version of RadScheduler for WinRT in our radar. While I may not give any ETA on this component, we will definitely consider implementing it for a future release.

I have updated your Telerik points for your valuable feedback. Do not hesitate to write us back should you have any question/problem with our tools.

Kind regards,
