Hi,

We've upgraded our Telerik version from 2013.1.0220 to 2013.1.0403 and the RadMenu ItemClick event is not being fired anymore for submenu options.

The RadMenu is dynamically populated from the database.

The telerik upgrade is the only change we've made.

Do we have to do something new so the event starts firing again?

Thanks!

Hi Jose,

Could you try using our latest internal build and see if the problem still exist? We had some similar issues, but we have fixed them in one of our internal builds. If it doesn't help, could you provide more information about your case - are you using any templates, how do you populate the data from the DB to your RadMenu, etc.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi,

We've upgraded our Telerik version from 2013.1.507 to 2014.1.421 and the RadMenu ItemClick event stopped firing again for submenu options.

What can we do to solve this problem?

Thanks!

Hi Jose,

May I ask you for more details on your scenario - are you using custom styles and templates, how do you populate RadMenu with items - are you using static ones or via ItemsSource property? Can you try removing all custom styles (if such exist) and see if the ItemClick event is fired? Also you can try creating very simple RadMenu with ItemClick event and see if it works.

If you can send a sample project reproducing the issue and send it back to us, it will be a great help for us, so we can investigate it on our side. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.
