Hi telerik Team,

Going through the Silverlight Demos I found that MapShapeReader is used in Information layer of the Maps where the primary provider is an Empty Provider.
Can I overlay an ESRI shape file on Tile Map providers like OSM using MapShapeReader ?

Regards,
Chaitanya Duse.

Hi Chaitanya,

Yes, you can use MapShapeReader with any map tiles provider (OSM, for example). But you must be sure that your shape file uses same projection as tile system use. The OSM uses WGS_1984 Mercator projection.
