Hello there.

Hopefully a nice simple one.

Both the RadEditor and RadHtmlPlaceholder do not resize correctly with the document.

For example, I can set each with a 10px margin and no height or width and they fill as expected. However, if the height of the document is changed they do not resize vertically, they overflow at the bottom. Oddly enought, the both resize correctly horizontally.

If anyone has any idea please let me know.

Regards,

darren.

Hi darren,

In which browser are you experiencing these resize issues? There are known problems with resizing RadEditor CTP in browsers different from IE, most of which will be fixed in the upcoming SP1.

Thanks for getting back so quickly.

My initial tests were in IE8, but further testing has revealed similar problems with Firefox and Safari.

This leads on to the inevitable question about at eta for a hotfix, or sp1?

Regards,

Darren.

Hi darren,

Thank you for your feedback. Currently RadEditor is in CTP stage and thus the quality of the control is not at production level yet. We are actively working on improving the stability of the code and resolving known issues. In the upcoming SP1 we will include an updated version of RadEditor, though the final version of the control will most probably come with our 2009 Q2 release.
