[Solved] RadGridView Grouping on Formatted Value

Hello,
 
   I have a question on rad grid view grouping. I am formatting a column value when displying in the grid and i want to group by the value that is displaying in the column. But for some reason it is grouping on the original data only not on the formatted value. Can someone let me know if there is a way to achieve grouping based on the formatted value?

We have logged a similar bug into our Public Issue Tracking System and its fix is supposed to be included in our official Q3 Release this November 2010. Please take a look at this and check if it corresponds to the issue you encounter.

Thanks Maya.  That seems to fix my issue too. However, i have question on the non bound column. Is there a way to apply sorting and grouping based on the non bound column. It is not doing the sorting and grouping based on the non bound column.
