Hello,
We were wondering if Telerik has explored the option of allowing the users of their RadGridView to add/remove columns?
If not then we are going to move forward with extending it to allow this functionality.

RadGridView support automatic generation of columns as well as manual creation and removal of columns. Could you please take a look at our Defining Columns help topic which explains in details how you can add columns to RadGridView both in XAML and code-behind. Removing a column is very easy - you just have to use one of the Remove methods of the Column collection of RadGridView.
