RadGauge - Needle or marker animation

I can't seem to find a solution. 
My scenario is the following: There is a button on my gauge upon pressing which I would like the needle or the marker (I'm working both with radial and linear gauges) slowly move (with animation) from 0 all the way to my new value. 
Please help!
