Is it possible to set either the Background or Foreground color of a RadComboBoxItem?

Hello Voss,
You could set Foreground on RadComboBoxItem either by directly setting the property, or if you are data-binding you could use ItemContainerStyle property of RadComboBox.
As for the Background - since it is not obvious which color will be changed when you set Background (normal or mouse-over) we left that property unbound in the control template. To change the Background you will have to edit the control template in blend.
