RadCalendar ViewMode-SelectionMode matrix

Supportable CalendarViewModes and CalendarSelectionModes have been described for each mobile device platform, and I have implemented them in my application. However, another necessary information is to know which selection modes are compatible to which view modes. For example, I get error when trying to change my calendars view mode to MultiDay when its selection mode is set to Range. I couldn't find any article regarding compatible ViewMode-SelectionMode matrix. Could anyone help please?

Thank you for the provided information.

I have checked the scenario and yes when multiday, day view modes are used multiple and range selection cannot be applied. The exception is as follows: "Java.Lang.IllegalArgumentException: 'The display mode Day is not available when selection mode is Multiple or Range.'"

Based on your feedback (about the missing part in our documentation for compatibility between RadCalendar viewmode and selection mode), I have logged an internal item in our backlog to improve the RadCalendar Selection article. Find your Telerik points updated as a small sign of gratitude for bringing this to our attention.

However, I think the problem is related to the MultiDay view mode, not Day.

Anyway, thank you very much. I will do it manually.

Hi Mehdi,

Multiday view mode inherits from day view mode. So Multiple and range selections are not available for both view modes.
