See attached image.

Is it possible to move the start and finish points in the chartarea so they are not placed on the edges of the chartarea, like a margin of some sort?
As you can see in the attached image, not the whole point marks are visible.

Hi Helgrim,

Navigate to this link http://www.telerik.com/help/silverlight/radchart-features-layout-mode.html to see how to set the Point Marks to be visible inside the Chart Area.

Thank you, that worked.

Is there a similar setting for the Y-axis, or is it expected to use the MaxValue and MinValue-settings ?

Hello Helgrim,

LayoutMode is property related only to the X-Axis. For Y-Axis you can specify the direction in which the axis range should be extended. Here is shown how to do it - http://www.telerik.com/help/silverlight/radchart-features-axes-y-axis.html

Thanks.
It looks like the ExtendDirection-setting extends the Y-axis with 1 major tick in the direction(s) specified.

But for more "fine-tuning" I guess I have to use MinValue/MaxValue. I think a Binding is in place; find the biggest/smallest value of the dataseries, and add a small offset.
In my case the chart is small and I have hidden both axis, so its important to exploit most of the chartarea.

Hi Helgrim,

Yes you are right - to be able to exploit most of the chart area you should use the MinValue and MaxValue properties of the axisY and/or axisX. Don't forget to turn off the AutoRange property of the axis and set the desired step. For more information refer to this link - http://www.telerik.com/help/silverlight/radchart-features-axes-overview.html.

I hope it gets you started properly.

Kind regards,
