Hi,

I'm using ORM Q2 (Trial) with Visual Studio 2010 Pro. When adding a domain model (I followed the First Look-Video) the "New Connection" button is disabled, no matter which backend I choose. I've reinstalled ORM, checked that everything is up to date with AddInInstaller.exe - nothing. My machine is a Win7 x64 with a local SQL Server 2008 Express installation, if that matters.

Any ideahow to make the data connection dialog accessible?

Best regards

S. Lorenz

Hi Stefan Lorenz,

This is a known issue that has already been fixed but the fix is not public yet. As a workaround please create your connection from the Server Explorer window of Visual Studio and then select this connection in the Add new item wizard.
Please excuse us for the inconvenience caused.

Best wishes,
