Not that this is a real problem, when I add an Open Access Data Source to a web page and cofigure it, ticking and unticking the boxes to enable delete, update or insert has no effect, it seems to be necessary to set these values on the source.

Yes you are totally right. Those tags are indeed not working properly. We are currently working on solving this issue. The fix will be available with our next service pack. Thank you for brining this to our attention. Please find your Telerik points updated.
Note that until our service pack is released the workaround is to set the properties by hand.
