hi, i have the problem that i need a combobox and a button inside
the panelbar. The problem is that the defined area with these
items are highlighted like the other panelbar items when the
mouse hovers over it. Is there a trick to avoid that the template
is handled and highlighted like normal a panelbar item?

Hi Ulrich Fiege,
Please take a look at the article "Editing RadControls in Expression Blend". It describes how to edit the visual properties of RadControls and how to edit control template in Blend.
