Question about BarSeries

Hi,

I'm trying to achieve a different type of bar series. And I know it is not quite possible with current chartview component. But I will ask it anyways maybe you know any workaround for this.

So I want a bar series with a categorical horizontal axis. It can be 1 2 3 4 5 or Project 1 Project 2 Project 3 and so.

And I want the vertical axis as datetime.

I'm adding an example image of what I wanted.

Is this possible by any means?

Hello Arıl,

There is a control designed specially for visualizing data like that. Its name is RadGanttView. You can check the online demos and documentation.

Thanks for your suggestion. But GanttView is too complicated for my task. I only want to see projects and their deadline dates in a chart. Any chart-wise suggestion?

For the time being, RadChart does not support such scenarios. Please, excuse us for the caused inconvinience.
May I once again recommend using RadGanttView. It has intuitive API and as I already wrote it serves exactly your goals.
