Hi,

When can we expect the service release for Q1 2016?

Just looking for a rough idea as we have some outstanding issues

 * Group header doesn't resize in listview on device rotation

 * Sorting on groups not currently support in Forms Listview

 * Legend missing on Vertical Axis in iOS still

Thanks.

Hello Norman,

These issues are already addressed in our source code and at the moment of writing their status is ReadyForTest. We will do our best to prepare a service pack release by the end of next week. This means you will be able to check it out by the end of the month.

We hope this is good enough for you.

Hi Pavel,

I know the team had to delay the release but when do you plan the next release roughly? I'm moving back on to an app at the end of the month/1st week in March that has outstanding fixes it needs like grouping issues in iOS.

Just looking for some rough timescales as we'd like to plan the next phases of mobile dev, also there are some code hacks to get round the customrenderer issue I'd like to get rid of in the dev phase of that app.

Thanks in advance,

Norman.

Hello Norman,

The service pack release is available and you can try it out. It contains fixes for the first two issues that you initially reported. For the third one we found a workaround which is simple and we would like to try it out.

The labels of the chart axis will be visualized if you set the MajorStep (for NumericalAxis) property per your needs. Please give this a try and let us know how it goes on your side.

Hi Pavel,

I must be missing something here as there is nothing in my control panel, in the portal you can only download 2016.1.113 (Jan 13, 2016)...which has the custom renderer bug afaik.

I'll double check but I don't think you can sort by the grouped field in a Listview in this version as the app that is built on this version has the Listview grouped with random sort order.

I did fix the chart issue with the axis after your help in a support ticket so that works fine.

Thanks,

Norman.

Hello Norman,

It is true that the latest release cannot be accessed from the control panel. You will need to log into your Telerik account and navigate to Products & Subscriptions/UI for Xamarin Cross-Platform/Download and from that page you will be able to download the release containing the fixes.

Please give this a try and let us know if you need any further assistance.

Hi Pavel,

Thanks for that, just spotted the zip file. I have tested in iOS and it does resolve all out outstanding bugs including the CustomRenderer issue. Everything works really well now.

Great work.
