The current version that is available from Icenium is version 2.0.5. This version doesn't clean up the notification tray if the app is already open. This is solved in the latest version from about a month ago.

See
PushHandlerActivity.java On Android, don't post notification twice if in the foreground

Can we get the new version for Icenium please?

Hello JD,

We're always keeping an eye on the built-in plugins in Icenium and update to newer versions when we have the resources to fully test that new version and make sure it is safe to use by our users. If you want to use a newer version of a built-in plugin before it is available in Icenium, you can always disable the built-in plugin and utilize the new version as a custom plugin.

Thank you for your answer Steve!

Not sure how soon the next version is coming out, but I think I will wait for that version and if it contains the updated plugin it will save me some time to invest time in changing from built-in to custom and back to built-in.

Hello JD,

I've just checked when we would have time to update the built-in plugins and it would be for our major v.2 release in March, so if this hotfix is important to you, plan accordingly.

Thank you for the heads up Steve. I decided to go for manual installation of the plug and the process went very smooth!
