Hi I'm trying to get the sample app backend-services-push-hybrid-advanced running from https://github.com/telerik/backend-services-push-hybrid-advanced.
It doesn't react at all after log in in IOS and in android shows the following error, Error : The Specified time zone is not supported.

I'm trying to create a simple app that would recieve notifications. If you guys have a working sample please let me know.

Hello Rohit,

You can use this sample which showcases the device initialization for push notifications and registration in Backend Services. For your convenience, please follow the Getting Started article in Backend Services.

The sample you mentioned is also showcasing sending push notifications from the client and binding a device registration with the Id of the currently logged in user making the device registration. Could you please try with exiting the app and log in the app again with the username and password you have already created?

I look forward to your reply.

I have got it working. The issue was the time was not a valid one in the device which I have tested.

Right now I have issues in trying to deploy it to IOS devices. which I have mentioned in another thread.

Hi Rohit,

I hope that the issue with the code signing of the app and deploying the app to a device is now also resolved and you can continue safely with your development tasks.

Just to mention that you need upload a server SSL certificate for push notifications in the backend project for the same APP ID and environment as the client certificate and provisioning in order to complete the whole code signing and be able to receive push notifications on your iOS devices.

Let me know if you have further questions.
