Steps to replicate:

1. run VS 2019 v

2. create a new UWP project using VB.NET

3.  prompt appears for login credentials? (see attached image)

Error is listed:

"Failed to download package 'Microsoft.Net.UWPCoreRuntimeSdk.2.2.9' from 'https://api.nuget.org/v3-flatcontainer/microsoft.net.uwpcorerutimesdk/2.2.9/microsoft.net.uwpcoreruntimesdk.2.2.9.nupkg'.  The ServicePointManager does not support proxies with https scheme."

What/where are this credentials??  (they aren't my telerik account credentials, that much I know)

Cheers, Rob.

Hi Rob,

Thank you for the provided image. I have created a VB UWP app following the steps you have provided. I successfully built the app on my side.

Regarding the login box, it seems that you need to enter your credentials for the Telerik NuGet Server. To confirm this - you're using the same credentials as the ones for logging into your Telerik account (https://www.telerik.com/account)?

Could you please elaborate more on how the message in the login box is related to the error message?

If you want to use Telerik UI for UWP suite inside the project, you can add the assemblies using the Telerik NuGet server or install the package from the NuGet org, you should search for Telerik.UI.for.UniversalWindowsPlatform.

I look forward to your reply.

Regards,
Didi

Hi Didi,

Installing the package from the NuGet org seemed to resolve the issue.

Cheers, Rob.
