Project and Page Templetes

I dowloaded the controls and was excited to start development on my first application for windows phone 8 and to my dismay I didn't see any of the templets.  Then I come to the forums and see that they are not going to be available for "a month or so".  Not good!  Can you please point me in the direction of how to setup windowws phone 8 projects that would be similar to using the templates?  I want to keep a common theme and feel to my application.

Hello Tim,

Please accept our apologies for the delay in the release of the templates for Windows Phone 8.

For now you can use your Windows Phone 7 application, right click the solution in VS2012 and select Upgrade to Windows Phone 8. This will spare you the setup of your app from scratch and let you continue with your Windows Phone 8 app just where you left off with WP7. The other option is to check out the source code of the Design Templates Showcase application which is available as part of our Integration Examples which you should have along with our latest release.

Yes - the VS2012 wizards that include the design templates will be part of our Service Pack which will be released on December, 11th.

There won't be any beta for the wizards. You can read my first post regarding the possible workarounds while waiting for the Service Pack.
