I am demoing Rad Controls for use in an application that I am developing. When I open the project in Expression Blend 4, I am unable to even get started.  On a page on which I am using a RadGridView for example, I get an "Unable to cast object of type 'Telerik.Windows.Controls.RadGridView to  type 'Telerik.Windows.Controls.GridView.GridViewDataControl" error message and cannot access properties for any of the elements on the page.

The project builds error free in VS 2010 and runs properly.

Hi Alan,

We are not aware of such an issue related to RadGridView's  Blend support for Silverlight.
Can you please share with us the grid version you used and steps to reproduce it as well.
It could be great if you can send us a small application via support ticket which could help us to investigate it by our side.
Thank you!

I discovered that there were some inconsistencies in my Telerik libraries.  Some libraries were from the most recent trial download and others were older.  I resolved the issue with the libraries and am now able to work in Expession Blend.  I do have one question however.  When I fixed the libraries, I started to get an error that AlignmentContentPresenter is not a type in GridView.  Does the AlignmentContentPresenter still exist in GridView?

Hi Alan,

The AlignmentContentPresenter is obsoleted. Now the standard ContentPresenter is used , you can read more about "Changes and Backward Compatibility" here.
Thank you!
