Hello all,

we made an app using AppBuilder, and desperately try to put it on an iPad or an iPhone with iOS7.

We succeeded to put a development version of the app on an old iPad1 with iOS5 but it seems not to work with iOS7.

All the certificates and procedure are OK (we both tried Development version and AdHoc version, the devices are well included in the provision profile, etc... ), we just download the .ipa file and put it in iTunes, it is well recognized and we start the install on the device... but after installing, nothing happens, the icon becomes gray (like a disabled button), and when we click on the app icon the word 'install' appears...

Is this something someone is aware of ? Did someone already get this type of error ?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Alexis

Hello Alexis,

Such an issue usually comes up if your provisioning profiles do not include the ID of the devices you're uploading the app to. I know you said that they are well included but sometimes there are certain indiscrepancies in the device ids.

For instance we've had reports where customers have gotten the device IDs through third-party services which do not always return the proper UDID. In that case we recommend making sure that the UDID of the device displayed in iTunes matches the ID registered in your provisioning profile.

Also, please note that if you had to add a new device ID in an already existing and registered provisioning profile, you will have to regenerate the profile and import it again in AppBuilder.

Other than that I am not sure what might be going wrong on your side. If there any errors or messages coming up when synchronizing the app from iTunes or while trying to install it again, please share them so that we can try to further investigate the case.
