Hello,

When we create application in ICENUM, we have taken update via LiveSync as like below link
http://docs.icenium.com/icenium-mobile-app-development/using-icenium-ion/ion-installation

after some days, we have done some change and we are updating application on IPAD with touch 3 finger but our changes will not update application on IPAD.

What will be the problem?

in my development computer everything is running good but from another IPAD, not update application after taking update with touch 3 finger.

Have to scan bar code every time when we update application? or anything else which i have to take care?

Hi Viral,

You need to tap and hold three fingers for one second until a popup appears that says "Downloading Package" - does this happen on your end. If not what is the behavior you observe and do you get any errors?

Please note that once Ion is installed on your iPad and you have launched your app in Ion, you no longer need to scan QR code for subsequent updates. The "three finger" update would get any changes you've made to the app.

Even better, if your iPad is connected to your development machine, you can see any changes you make to the application directly reflected on the iPad, should you use Graphite with LiveSync i.e. you do not have to use the three finger refresh to get the new app package, when the device is connected to Icenium Graphite IDE.

If you continue to have problems, please elaborate on your setup and provide step by step instructions to reproduce the problem.

Kind regards,
Steve

for testing i am updating one text of HTML Div tag, saving the file, then tap and hold 3 finger, nothing happen in my IPAD. even i commit code and push that also...nothing happen when i hold 3 finger.

if again i scan QR code and update that, getting update,
then without closing application i change in code and save file and then hold 3 finger, it update the code

but if i close the application on IPAD, and reopen that and then do some change in code and press 3 finger, nothing happen and not opening download package popup... :(

Hi Viral,

Thanks for the clarification, but even with your instructions we fail to reproduce such problem on our end. Thus we'll need some more information in order to diagnose the problem:
  1. What is the iOS version of your iPad and what version of Cordova does your app target?
  2. Please install and open iPhone Configuration Utility and in it go to the Console of your device. Click the clear button and try to live sync your app again. Please paste any log messages that may appear here.
