Printing to xps error

Hi

I am using silverlight 5 with telerik 2012 controls for silverlight and telerik reporting.

Sometime I get below error when printing to xps document from the report viewer.

Error: System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFoundException : The given key was not present in the dictionary.
   at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.get_Item(TKey key)
   at Telerik.ReportViewer.Silverlight.ReportViewerModel.PrintDocumentManager.SetPageVisual(Int32 printPageNumber, PrintPageEventArgs e)

What could be the issue?

Hello Sajid,

Your account download history shows that you have downloaded only Telerik Reporting Q2 2011. We already addressed similar error in the Q3 release and the fix is available since the Q3 2011 SP1 release, so please upgrade and let us know of the outcome.

If the error persists, we would appreciate if you:

• provide us with steps to reproduce this
• provide a sample that exhibits the problem (again with accompanying steps)

Once we are able to reproduce this on our end, we would be able to advise you accordingly.

Thanks for reply.

I was using Q2 2011. Where can I download Q3 2011 SP1?

I did some tests with Q1 2012 and the report layout is different in the viewer and the print button is not working.

Do I have to upgrade the report using a wizard?

Hi Sajid,

The Q3 2011 version has a prerequisite to first click on the Print Preview button and then the Print button would be activated. We've addressed this prerequisite in the Q1 2012 release and we also addressed a problem related with Silverlight 5 in the internal build we released today. We highly recommend upgrading to v6.0.12.330 (it is available for download in your account) and letting us know if you have any further problems/questions.

Hello Sajid,

Version 6.0.12.330 is internal build i.e. it is not an official version and if you have license for Q1 2012 release, you would have access to the dev version of the internal build as well. The fixes in the internal builds are also included in the next official release.

Hi Richard,

I've attached a screenshot to the internal builds section where you select the product for which you would like to download an internal build. Note that internal builds are bound to the official version at that time, so you should have downloaded the latest official version, in order to see internal builds for it.
