I want to download the preview 1.1(2.0) controls which only seem to be available for web viewing but not testing.  My understanding from the webinar was that the preview would be available to us.

After reviewing the webcast "PREVIEW" it seems clear that the "PREVIEW" is supposed to be made available for review and testing and not just a web demo.

When will the Silverlight 2.0 PREVIEW be made available?

Hello Steven,
Thanks for asking this question. The "preview" will be made available for download and testing as soon as the beta version of the Silverlight 2.0 plugin is official.

Kind regards,
Chris

Hello Steven,
According to Scott Gu's blog post it will be available in Q1 2008 and I think the release will most probably coincide with the MIX conference in March.

Sincerely yours,
Chris

Is there going to a RadMediaPlayer control for 1.1(2.0)?

Hello Scott Francis,

Yes - there will be a MediaPlayer control, but it is not in our list for the first version. We will first release the controls that allows you to create business applications in Silverlight.

For the moment, please use the MediaPlayer control that we have for Silverlight 1.0 version.

All the best,

I've tried to run the "integration" example on a number of browsers (FFox, Safari, Opera, IE8) and can't get it to work on any. I get a blank pop-up page when I click on "Launch Example" although right-clicking indicates it's running Silverlight.

Are there any known issues ?? I was keen to demo the upcoming technology to my customer, as the possible future of their website, but can't do that right now.

Hi Mike,

Thank you for reporting this - we will investigate and fix it - it seems like to be a problem with the latest silverlight2 version.

Kind regards,

Any word on when a trial of these controls can be downloaded?

Both march and april have come and gone, and as far as I can tell your package is the only one containing a decent upload control :-)

Hello Morten Mertner,

We will release a CTP a few days after Microsoft release a beta2 of the Silverlight2 plugin, which is expected to happen this month :).

Hi Valentin;

Today, I accidentally came across a video on Youtube that showed a demo of MIX08 about Telerk Silverlight product. As part of the demo, it showed a real cool Panel control. But when looking at the list of you current controls, I don't see the panel control. Is this something that will be part of version 1.o?

Hello Ben,

If you mean the animated wrap panel from this video:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=9u31KtDICw0

i'm still not sure if this panel will make it for the CTP release. We will definitely going to include it at least as a sample code in our quick start application if not for this CTP, in one of the next releases.
