When in edit mode on a row, with rowvalidation enabled, the row does not cancel edit mode when pressing the ESC key on the keyboard.

Everything was working fine until today, which was an upgrade from 12/11/09 assemblies to 12/19/09 assemblies so the bug must have been introduced with the latest build (or there is a new implementation).

Any suggestions to return to the old behavior?

Thanks.

It appears that this behavior does in fact work as it should when you are currently focused within a cell's CellEditTemplate.

Before you could press ESC when validation was invalid from ANYWHERE and have the edit be cancelled.

Hello Ryan Lenagh,

Actually this behavior is not expected and it is a known issue for us. With the next latest internal build we will introduce an improvement to this behavior, which I believe will work as expected. By expected I mean when user press ESC key this will cancel edit of the currently edited cell (will return its original value), but row will remain in edit mode. GridViewRow will go out of the edit mode after second ESC key press. After this second ESC key press row cells will have their original values (before edit).
