I have been developing web based Database Applications (using another platform); and I am exploring avenues for ...
1) replacing the underlying platform
Can 'Apps built with Icenium' be run as web Apps (or only as native Apps) ? ... of course, I do not expect any of the functionality provided by Phonegap to be deployed in such Applications.
2) enhancing these Applications by having the client side of such web Applications call Everlive's RESTful services
Can the RESTful services built with Everlive be requested from client pages/apps that were NOT built with Icenium's front end development platform ? ... e.g. from scripts on foreign servers or web pages/apps on such servers ?

- Not directly from the Icenium front end, no. You can export your project, remove all Cordova related files and host your app on a web server, but that would defeat all reasons for using Icenium in a first place.
- Yes, you can use the Everlive services from any client or server applications. Everlive provides SDKs for .Net and JavaScript. If you use another language or platform then you can consume the REST services directly. You can find documentation about them in the backend of your Everlive app.

Too bad about not being able to (directly) run as Web Apps ... I have admired the facilities provided by KendoUI ... and was hoping that Icenium would allow me to use this front end and the Everlive backend in a single integrated Application platform.
However, I will sign up and check out the Everlive services ... both, from a server (another platform) and from Windows (desktop) Applications that I build using a RAD utility that supports an easy way to invoke Internet (GET and POST) requests.
