Hello,
Very exciting, I am very happy with your other controls and to see an ORM makes me even happier. Do you think that there may be future support for the VistaDB database or will it be possible to write custom providers that will open up access to other databases?

Also, is Sitefinity going to start using this orm instead of Nolics.Net?

Thanks,
Brian

P.S. The new site looks great and is much much faster than the old site.

Hello Brian Goldman,

Nice that you like the new website. It is driven now completely from Sitefinity.

Sitefinity will start switching to OpenAccess soon. Stay tuned.

At the moment we are collecting votes for additional databases support. I take yours for VistaDB.

There is no generic database access possible because we are generating special SQL for all databases. Esp. the designtime support that we need is not part of the ADO.NET definition.

Another vote for VistaDB

And SQLCE Desktop

I think those two would add good desktop solutions.

One more vote for VistaDB.  I've been a VistaDB customer since they were beta testing their first version. It is the best one out there - embedded and server, CLR integration, SQL Server types, no size limit, low price,... What isn't to like?
