I posted an InCell Editing bug a few weeks ago, today I found another one.
When the grid is blank, click the "No records to display." then you can see a cross column text box appeared. I guess it is a bug.
I've tried with 2011.Q1.517 and 2011.Q1.614, same issue.
Also, please help me on this thread:

Indeed, you are correct about the described behavior. However, we are able to address it and the fix will be included in the next internal build. Meanwhile I have attached an updated version of telerik.grid.editing.js file. I have updated your telerik points too.
Regarding your other question, I'm afraid that currently there is not way to hook to the dirty flag.
