[Solved] Possible Bug - RowTemplate & Client Validation

I'm using 2011.Q2.712~810.

The row template is one of nice features!

I found if the grid using RowTemplate is empty(no record),  in the server editing, pop-up edit mode, the required validation will do not work, but if the grid has one or more rows, the required validation will work fine.

If I do not use RowTemplate, even no record in grid, the client required validation is working properly. So I guess it is a bug with RowTemplate.

Could you please help to confirm this issue?  So we can decide if we should use RowTemplate feature in the current project.

Hi,

Although there is no response from Telerik till now, but I'd like to update:  This issue was fixed in 2011.Q2.914. Unfortunately, the client side validation seems not work since 2011Q3,(including 2012Q1) so I have to stay with 2011Q2. :(
