Phonegap project from github - how do I get them to work

Hi,

I'm new to phonegap development and also not a real wizard with html5, javascript and css. I know, it will be a steap learningcurve but I look forward to it.

I went through the photoalbum tutorial (which didn't run smoothly but ok)
I then succefully importet a phonegap project from github, just hello world application.

When I run it in an emulator I just get the phonegap logo and a trying to connect. When i import another project I get the same problem.

I don't expect the have an answer but maybe just a clue were I can start to search what is causing the problem.

Hello Mario,

If you are able to run the photo album app from the tutorial correctly, then the problem is most probably connected to the importing from Github. Can you explain how exactly are you importing the projects and also provide a url to the projects you are importing, so that I can try them out and suggest what might be the problem.
