What does this mean?

The assembly 'EmailBanners.PermissantClasses' does not have a config file with an openaccess node.

Hi Alec,
it seems that one of your assemblies hasn't been enchanted. Can you please enable all of your assemblies to use OpenAccess. You can do so by using the OpenAccess enable wizard. If this doesn't work for you can you please provide us with some additional information regarding this issue.

Best wishes,

I'm getting the same type error with one of my DLL's.

I have a BLL that was enabled and was generated with "Data Access Code"

I have DAL that was enabled and was generated with Persistent Classes AND Data Access Code

And I have a web application project that was enabled and generated with "Data Access Code".

All connection strings are matching in the three configs (two App.configs and the web.config).

I get the following error:
The assembly 'MyApp_DAL' does not have a config file with an openaccess node

However, all .config files have that node.  I've deleted and reconfigured the application any number of times (MVC App)\

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Hi Timothy Fischer,
can you check what is the value of the Build Action property of the failing App.config. If it is None can you please try to set it to Embedded Resource.
