I have seen several demos showing the performance of Telerik Silverlight GridView - pretty fast!
But I have not found any demo showing the performance of editing a row in the GridView (especially PopUp Edit Form). Appreciate Anyone enlighten me?

Even if we do not have a dedicated example to demonstrate such functionality it is achievable with our RadGridView for Silverlight. You can see similar scenario in this example.
