Hi!
I have two questions concerning performance in the ScheduleView component.
1.
We just got a new customer using Mac OS and they have huge performamce issues using our scheduling application.
When they show six weeks with about 700 appointments grouped on 20 persons they are unable to work with the application.
If they click the scrollbar to scroll down, it takes about 10 seconds to react.
Drag and drop is almost impossible because the response is so slow and jerkily.
When doing the same on a PC, its not the fastest in the world, but it's definately much more responsive.
We have customers working on PC with up to 12 weeks and over 2000 appoinments grouped on 200 persons.
We have extended our appointments, both in several more properties and more advanced graphics, but that is also neccessary for our functionality.
Are you aware of any Mac related performance issues and do you know of any solutions?
2.
We are currently using your last Silverlight 4 version.
Has there been any performance improvement since then?
The problem is that our largest customer's IT department has not approved Silverlight 5 so we can't just upgrade.
But if we would gather enought reasons to upgrade maybe we can convince them to approve SL5.
Regards,
Håkan
