The performance when dragging the RadWindow around is slugging and sticky.  There is a noticeable lag between moving the the drag of the mouse and the response of the window.

The default implementation, "Full Drag",  is very costly on graphics performance.  Telerik can eliminate the issue by providing a DragMode property (e.g. DragMode.DragOutline) that when set only displays a border outline "preview" while dragging.  Note the Windows drag mode on Windows Server 2008.

Please point this out to me if this already exists and I missed it.  Otherwise, if there is a workaround example of how one might achieve this, I'd appreciate it.

Hello Rick,

Thank you for your suggestion - it sounds as a good feature of the RadWindow control!

We would like to investigate what causes the performance problems you have when you are using the RadWindow control as we are not aware of such problems yet. Could you please share with us some more details about your application and about the environment you use? If you could explain also in more details what exactly performance problems you have, that would be very helpful.

Kind regards,
