I was just looking at a rival product by Visiblox and the very simple side by side sample with the telerik RADChart I've set up with 10,000 points displayed on a line chart using random values as the y axis and ascending dates for the x values seems to show a huge difference in performance between your product and visiblox ie visiblox renders almost immediately whereas RADChart takes upwards of 10s or more. I've made sure to disable animations and hide labels but can you see any other reason why the telerik chart is so slow in comparison? The only other thing I can see is that the visiblox chart is a simple line (good) whereas the telerik one displays point marks (can't seem to disable this). At the moment the visiblox chart looks a good candidate for some of our more complicated scenarios...

Okay looks like the point marks were the real killer after all - once I used showpointmarks on the lineseriesdefinition then the rendering time moved down significantly. Nothing to see here ;-)
