Any chance this control can be added to a suite where we can show a PDF file natively in a SL page? The control should have similar capabilities as a PDF reader, i.e. be able to scale size up or down, view in full page or page width and etc. Be able to to jump to a specific page. Navigation to next, previous pages.

Any possibility of this control?
Thanks!
..Ben

Hi ..Ben,

For the upcoming quarter release we are mainly focused on our GridView improvements and RadScheduler for Silverlight. I am afraid we will not be able to also include this task in the plan. However, we will log it in the future To-Do list and start evaluating it as soon as we finalize the other major tasks we started.

Greetings,

Thanks Nick. That's all I'm asking at  this point to start giving it some thought and research to have a native control for PDF.

Just supporting Ben's suggestion: I think this could be a very useful addition to your component suite.

Hi All,

As the PDF rendering is not in our short terms you can meanwhile use the HtmlPlaceholder to host the PDF document. The end result will be the same as if we have rendered it inside the Silverlight.
