We are evaluating Telerik for our enterprise (500+ users) business app. One of the requirements for the PDF viewer is that it support hyperlinks. This can be built-in or an event so that we can develop the feature ourselves. Is this possible with the current version of the Silverlight PDF Viewer?

Thanks.

Hi Guy,

Thank you for your interest in RadPdfViewer for Silverlight.

We have hyperlinks feature scheduled for the Q2 release. At this point, the PDF viewer does not differentiate the hyperlinks from the rest of the text, so it will not be possible to implement the navigation feature on your end with the current version of the control.

I hope this answers your question.

All the best,

Hello,

Was this feature included on 2012 Q2 version?
I've tried a document with hyperlinks on Telerik demo application (2012 Q2) and it's not working.

Best Regards,
Rogério

Hello Rogério,

We are still working on this feature. We are hoping that it will be available for the service pack at the latest.

Kind regards,

I just tried with 2013.1.403.1050 and links are not working. I can see the cursor change when the link is hovered over, and when the link is clicked is can see background change but it does not navigate to the section referenced by the link.

Is this working now and I just need to hook up an event?

Hello Robert,

Hyperlinks are supported by RadPdfViewer, so we are not sure what is causing the behavior on your end. Can you please send us a sample PDF file that will reproduce this so that we can further investigate the issue and if confirmed, fix it as soon as possible?

Thank you for your cooperation!

I am new to the forum, I tried to attach the file, but it looks like I am only allowed to attach image files. How do I get the file to you?

Hi Robert,

You are right that only images can be attached to a forum post. That said, I'd suggest you open a support ticket on the matter and attach your file there.

We're looking forward to hearing from you.
