[Solved] PanelBar within TabStrip rendering problems

I'm trying to place a PanelBar control within the content of a TabStrip control. The PanelBar renders correctly outside of the definition of the TabStrip but once I place it within then things go wrong. When expanding a panel it doesn't push others down so the content is being rendered behind the others.

As a workaround I am manually setting the z-index of each PanelBar item, but I was wondering what could be done to make the control work properly.

Hello Ryan,

Could you please try the beta build of the upcoming release and see whether the problem persists? We addressed quite a bit of "nesting" issues, but we might have missed that one.

I'm running off the latest release of the Q2 2010 BETA so unless there is some development version I could upgrade to I think I'm current. My Telerik script and content folders read 2010.2.713 if that is of any help.

That's the latest version, indeed. I'm attaching a solution for your problem - the one that we are using for the testing of nesting. I couldn't reproduce the problem that you described - perhaps you have a different PanelBar declaration?

does anyone have an example of the reverse? meaning tabstrip inside panel bars?
in my situation the panel bars are data bound and the number of tabs are fixed.

both work fine on their own but when I place the tab strip inside the the panel bars the tab strips orientation looks like the panel bars. (the tabs turn into panel bars)

We have been adjusting the panelbar rendering and CSS to allow the required scenario -- the changes will be available with the upcoming Q2 release.
