Overload connection handling

Is there anyway that we can overload the mechanisms for getting a connection? Eg, we supply dbconnection and data access does the rest?

 This is not possible at the moment.
What do you want to achieve by passing in your own DbConnection? If you provide me some more details maybe I can provide you with a solution to your problem which does not require you to pass your own DbConnection instance to the context.
