I have converted to JC from ReSharper , which must please you no end.
I did some while back suggest a feature that may make other users make the same decision. Like many R# users I have got used to some features which seem very natural in VS. While not asking that you produce a copy of R# (!!) I would like to highlight those features I miss.
One is an Outliner
Outliner was a MS(Power tool extra etc) for VS2008 add in which for some reason they either did not do for VS2010 , or from some blogs , I think it didn't work too well and they withdrew it.
In essense for any Method , Field ,Property etc there is a Line item on a floating Menu a la Solution Explorer . It allows for double click and goto the method in focus. ,drag and drop for re ordering and some refactoring eg ReName and
in R# its called File Structure in VAX VA Outliner. It is a major bonus to navigation and I always have Solution Explorer on one Side and Outliner on the other .
When I mentioned it you said it was on your "List" , although I don't see it on PITS
I have to renew my license in august and this certainly would be on my "Most Wanted List" and be major motivator. I currently run VAX alongside JC to get this functionality.
Any thoughts on Progress. Keep Up The Good Work JC is fast becoming the reference add in for VS productivity.
