Hello.
Just recently, the company upgraded the developer's workstations to use Visual Studio 2012 and the latest Q1 2013  releases of the Telerik controls. I migrated one of our existing applicaitons from Visual Studio 2010 and Q3 2012 to the new versions. The application contains an OrgChart used to display links between power sources and the meters they feed. In the VS2010 project, the connecting lines are arranged in neat straight lines with right angles. In the VS2012 project, however, the connecting lines are straight connecitons to the corresponding template.

Has anyone else encountered this issue, and if you have, do you have a way to resolve the conneting lines so that they use the straight, right angle display mode?

I've included a few screen shots that show the difference between versions.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi Jodie,

You have hit a breaking change we have introduced from Q3 2012 to Q1 2013.

In your scenario, you must set RouteConnections property of the RadDiagram to True. This will turn on the polyline routing mechanism that was automatic in Q3 2012.

We are trying to reflect every similar change in out changes and backwards compatibility sections in documentation.

Please excuse us for the inconvenience caused.
