Hello Rodion,
We have already tested the beta version of the managed odp.net driver but found out that there are still some issues in this driver that were revealed by our test suite. These errors are already reported to Oracle directly and we are waiting for a new version of the driver to test it again.

We definitely plan to support the managed Oracle driver but unfortunately, we can not give you a timeframe yet when this will be. We will integrate support for this driver to Telerik OpenAccess ORM, as soon as we can rely on it and our test suite shows no more errors.

I hope this information is useful for you.
Feel free to ask if you have any other question.

Regards,
Ralph

Now that the production version (12c r1) has been released, have the issues with the driver been resolved such that OpenAccess now supports the fully managed driver?

Hi Gary,
First the bad news. We are still facing issues with the Oracle managed driver that need to be resolved before we can support the driver.

Second the good news. We have successfully introduced Oracle 12c in our test suite and will support Oracle 12c with the next version of Telerik OpenAccess ORM.

Do no hesitate to ask in case you have any other question.

Regards,
Ralph

Hello Girish,

We are not aware about any issue working with Test Studio and any version of Oracle Client.

Here is an article from our documentation that can give you more details.

I hope this helps.
