Hi,
I have been using JustCode and for the most part, I really like it.
The only thing I do not like, and cannot get used to, is the Find/Find and Replace interface.

I realise that I can get to the default Find/Find and Replace interface by clicking the Advanced link from the new interface. But that is adding a step in the process, which is not what a productivity tool should be doing.

So, is there an menu option to revert to the default visual studio Find/Find and Replace interface, or would I have to uninstall JustCode?

If there is no such option, this might make for a good future feature.

Cheers

Hi David,

Thank you for your feedback. It is not JustCode that has changed the Ctrl+F behaviour (we don't do anything in Find/Find and Replace). I believe that you have Visual Studio Power Tools installed, that extension has an advanced quick find that is mapped to Ctrl+F.

You can disable that particular Power Tools extension (and have the old Find/Find and Replace interface mapped to Ctrl+F) from Visual Studio Tools - Options - Productivity Power Tools - All Extensions - Quick Find Off. You can disable Power Tools from Visual Studio Tools - Extension Manager.

If you have any other problems or suggestions, please don't hesitate to write back. We appreciate your feedback.

Kind regards,

Hi Svetlozar,

You are quite right. And thanks so much for showing me how to disable it.
Best of both worlds - I can continue to enjoy JustCode and disable the Quick Find option in Power Tools.
My apologies to the JustCode team.

Thanks again!
