I have noticed an issue with the toolbar that OpenAccess ORM installs in VS 2010, and wonder if others have seen this, and if anyone knows how to resolve the problem in a way that's better that my rather clunky workaround.

Basically what is happening on my computer is that every other time I start VS 2010 the OpenAccess ORM toolbar is missing. (My workaround so far has been to open VS 2010 once, then close it, and then open it again.

I think this is due to an interaction with another program that I installed before OpenAccess called Axialis IconWorkshop that also creates its own toolbar, because when the OpenAccess toolbar buttons are missing, the Axiaslis button appears normally; when OpenAccess buttons are present, the Axiaslis button appears within the same toolbar strip at the end of all the other OpenAccess buttons. In fact the OpenAccess buttons are contained within the toolbar strip called "Axialis IconWorkshop."

If anyone can explain this, and knows a better fix for this, please let me know.

Hello Gil,

We downloaded the latest trial version of the IconWorkshop and installed it on several machines, however there was no problem with the toolbars. We were able to enable/disable each of them without a problem and they were not mixed. Restarting Visual Studio did not show any side effects either.
Are you using the latest version of IconWorkshop? Is it possible that they have fixed the problem in a newer version than the one you are using? I assume that because we have not changed anything in the toolbox registration recently. If possible, could you please check if this happens on another machine except yours?

All the best,
Alexander
