Hello everybody!
I'm looking for a way to manage backups of the data with Open Access ORM. I thought about database's own system of backups, but following this way my application will be database depending. Is there any way to make and restore backups of the database with Open Access?

Thanks for your time.

P.S. sorry for my English

Hello Iván Tajes,

Unfortunately Telerik OpenAccess ORM does not provide support for database backup.
An overview of the product can be found here. It demonstrates the benefits of using ORM tool and in particular Telerik OpenAccess.

Hello!!

I'm facing exactly the same scenario that Tajes.
I was thinking about using the ObjectContainer.
Do you think ObjectContainer would be suitable to backup and eventually restore information to a different RDMS? I'm talking about using it as an "external" and "disconnected" storage and not necesary using it's change tracking cappabilities.
What do you think? Any advice?

Thanks in advance,

Gonzalo

Hello gmendez,

I am afraid that you are unable to achieve that goal using the ObjectContainer.
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.
