Open a radwindow from a oob silverlight Window put it in the main window

When open a rad window from a Silverlight 5 new oob window, the rad window opens up in the old window.   I'm using the new q1 download.

Hi Dan,

We are aware of the issue and you can monitor the progress of fixing it here. Also here is a related forum post.

We have tried to fix it for the Q1, but it is more tricky than expected. The tricky part comes from the fact that the at some point in our logic the Silverlight plugin does not give us the right coordinates.

We are trying a different approach now and we are working on fixing it.

In case anyone is reading this,  I also tried using a silverlight ChildWindow and is behaves the same way and only opens on the main window.

Hello Ajeet,

We have tried few approaches and it seems like we have find the right one, but we just have a little bit more research to do. Therefore at this point we are not able to give you an exact time frame when the issue will be fix. Nevertheless you can always track the PITS issue which is up to date and as soon we know when the issue will be fixed it will be automatically updated.

Hi,

The previously mentioned issue when opening RadWindow instances from a different window than the main window in OOB has been resolved.

Unfortunately we are aware of a different issue that causes incorrect restrictions to be applied in this scenario. The item description has been updated with information about the other related issue which can be found here.
