hi,
  in asp.net web application on moving the mouse over the rows of gridview  we can change the  row color    is there same thing like that we can achive in silverlight  in code  behind
  would any one  share  the  code   how  to  do it..

Hi,

 This is built-in in the grid. If you copy GridViewRow style in Blend you will able to find all VisualStates including normal, selected and mouse-over.
