Hi,

I've encountered a problem when zooming into a chart. If I move the scroll slider an exception pops up saying System.Argument.Exception OleAut did not convert to a date time. I've no idea why it does this and am unable to catch the exception.

I've attached a screenshot with the error and I hope you can help out.

Thanks in advance & kind regards

Roel Hans

Hello Roel,

Since RadChart is converting the double representations (OADate) of DateTime to DateTime somehow it might have slipped through the available range (must be a value between negative 657435.0 through positive 2958466.0.) as described here.
Could you please elaborate a bit more on the scenario you have? What kind of data do you bind the Chart to, we are more interested in the XAxis since the issue is caused by its elements? It will be very helpful if you send us a runnable stripped down version of your project where this reproduces. This way we'll be able to investigate it locally and get back to you with our findings/suggestions.

All the best,
