Hello GEB,
The Office Black theme is not deleted - it is the default theme of all controls and is present in the control assemblies. You could apply it by setting telerik:StyleManager="Office_Black" without additional references.
Kind regards,

I am using the method you recommend, and with SP1 this does not cause the Office_Black style to be used. For example, I set the default style to Office_Blue at the application level, and then override it within a chart (identical to your recommendation), and the Office_Blue style is still used.

Hello GEB,
Please, find attached a simple application that overrides the application (Office_Blue) theme with Office_Black. It seems to work properly, am I doing something wrong?
Sincerely yours,

Thank you very much for the example. I believe that something else has now changed with the default Office_Black theme that had me confused. In previous versions of RadControls, when the Office_Black theme was used, the chart would have a very rich black background with a light gray pattern (as opposed to the horizontal gray bars it has today). So, I believe that I am seeing the Office_Black default theme, but the default appearance is very different that when using the original Office_Black theme. What happened to the rich background that used to exist that made the charts look so good? It appears to me that at least for charting, the Office_Black theme has changed dramatically (for the worse).

The attcahed sample you sent is a SL3 sample. I converted this to SL4, and to .NET4, used your latest RadControls for SL4 assemblies (SP1), and the Office_Black theme stopped working. I can upload the converted project if you want me to open a support ticket.

Hello GEB,
Could you check the versions of the Telerik assemblies? The Silverlight 3 themes appear to be incompatible with the Silverlight 4 applications. I converted the application and updated the references, and everything seems to work fine.
All the best,

I am not able to load your last project in VS2010, so it doesn;t look like a valid project for some reason. On my test project, I did verify that I am using all SL4 components, and that I'm using the Telerik assemblies that were SP1 for SL4 (not SL3).

Hi GEB,
It is strange that when I opened the attached solution, the Silverlight application was initially unloaded. But righclicking the unloaded project and selecting Reload Project from the context menu works.
